A long but exciting week of events....

So last Friday my Friends Andrea "Jock strap " Williams and Handsome Rob Williams came up to visit for the holiday weekend. It was really cool to spend some time with them. We were all over and on the go a lot. A newly friend of mine graduated from PLU on Sunday so that was exciting. She is now spending 3 weeks in Europe. It must be rough! Also on Sunday my mom, grandma, grandpa, uncle jerry & his girl friend, uncle joe and aunt bobbie all came over for a bbq in the new house. During this weekend we were also moving out of the old apt and in to this new house. So yes this past weekend was exciting but stressful.

This whole week my mom has been staying with us to help us get settled in at the new place. She has been a huge help. She has been cleaning and organizing everything for us. It has been a blessing because we have been free to do other things.

This week has been busy but good for me. Work is going ok. I got to spend some time with some great friends and I got to spend some time with my Mom. God has blessed me this week and I hope we all can recognize our blessings and remember to thank God for them.

Very soon....

This past week has been crazy! We have 5 days until we move into our new place. My brothers and I along with some friends have been busting out butt in the yard to make it look nice. My friend Trish and I have started building my garden. I'm super excited. Here in the next day or so I will start planting veggies! Right now we have dug up the area and pulled out 90% of the weeds. By Monday night I will have my garden planted and looking good!

Do I sound dorky, I think so but I can't wait to have a garden to tend to. I'm growing up who would have thought I would have a garden. So far we have put a lot of work into the new house and I can't wait until we finish it. Right now I am spending about 12 hrs a week working on the yard and very soon it will be complete and we will have our house warming party!

Yardwork, Friends & a 64 oz soda..........

My brothers and I are moving into a 5 bedroom house on May 25th and we have already started doing yard work at the house. We have spent a total of about 10 hours this week working on it. Tonight we had some friends over helping us BIG TIME. It was a lot of help and got a lot done. Now we just have to fine toon some things in the back yard. We are going to have a flower garden and a veggie garden in the back and are in the process of making it hot!

We have take some pictures and will post those later on as "Project House" continues. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Tomorrow my friend Mei Ling is flying up from San Lorenzo, CA to visit for the weekend. I haven't seen her since November. She is my best friend from college. I'm really excited for her to come up. Its going to be good times. Hopefully we will stay out of trouble but who knows with us.

House Guests....

Monday night we signed papers for the house my brothers and I are renting. We are very excited and have already started doing yard work even though we don't move in until May 25th. Our goal is to make the front yard look 100% better. As of now it has hydro seed down but we are pulling weeds, putting more grass seed down and getting ready to make it look nice. Last night Mat and Ben did a lot of the work. I had youth group so I missed out on it but over the next two days I will be able to help.

Back to the house guests, On Friday night my friend Mei Ling is coming up from California to visit. Its her first time here so I am excited to see her. She is one of my best friends from college. So this will be an exciting weekend.
